Our Story

Andrew and Miranda met last Summer, while helping renovate a house near their Parish. They both immediately liked each other but were too shy to strike up a conversation.

You might be asking yourself, how can two shy people fall in love?

As the summer went on, Miranda and Andrew’s crush on each other grew over time. Soon it became the biggest elephant in the room. Until one day, Andrew mustered up the courage to talk to her. But his plans quickly went awry, as everyone working at the house wanted to talk to Miranda.

Andrew patiently waited until they had a moment alone. He turned to her and asked how her day was going. Miranda smiled and was overjoyed that Andrew took the courage to say hi to her.

A few weeks later, after working late one evening, Andrew asked Miranda out to dinner. As she looked up at him to say yes, Andrew pointed the flashlight at her face! Blinded by the light, Miranda had no choice but to go to dinner!

By the Fall, Miranda and Andrew both knew it was true love. They didn’t hesitate nor think twice, and got engaged on November 22, 2023. Both are looking forward to building a life and more together!
